Financial support is occasionally available for students to attend the Biennial conference and present the results of their research. The students must be currently enrolled in a suitable degree in Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea or Fiji in the field of Quaternary studies, and be a member of AQUA.

The amount of support available is dependent upon distance travelled and other support available, among other factors.
