QUATERNARY CLIMATES IN AUSTRALIA: A BIBLIOGRAPHY
Bleys, E.J., Hunt, G.R. & Truscott, M. 1994. Quaternary climate in Australia: a bibliography. 2nd Edition. AGSO Record 1994/52.
The Quaternary climates bibliography is the most comprehensive compilation of Quaternary climate change in Australasia available. Now in its second edition it contains 2000+ references with keyword descriptors. References are dominantly from Australia and New Guinea with a smattering from New Zealand, Antarctica and surrounding islands. The papers were selected for relevance to climate and in particular research on sites producing climatic interpretations. The bibliography has been subdivided on the basis of certain keywords into themes (e.g. dunefields, coast, climate models, vegetation, fauna, etc.) for ready reference. In the hard copy it comes as two volumes with the full bibliography forming the first and the thematic extractions the second. It is also available in digital form in a number of formats ranging from ASCII text through word processing documents to bibliographic programs.
