This prize is awarded to the best PhD and Honours student papers presented at the Biennial Conference. The recipients must be members of AQUA and be currently enrolled in a suitable degree in Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea or Fiji. Winners are encouraged to submit an article of the winnning presentation for publication in Quaternary Australasia.
Value
The value of the award in 1999 was A$500 (post graduate) and A$250 (under graduate). A separate award is given for the best Honours and PhD presentations.
Selection
Awards will be competitive and selection will be made by the office bearers of AQUA.
